Head up to the breathtaking Main Lodge where we’ll have music and drinks to launch the social hour before having dinner.

7 p.m.
Cocktail Reception Dinner, Main Lodge
We’ll get set to launch the weekend in a fun way! We’ll have delicious dinner stations and servers on hand throughout so that it’s a great way to connect in the gorgeous dining room. Cash bar.

8:30 p.m.
Restorative Yoga Class – Kawartha Room
Want to start your weekend off right? Head to our yoga studio to relax your body and mind with this restorative class to ease your way into and out of the weekend. A combination of breath and certified pure essential oils will aid in relaxation. Please bring a blanket or towel + your mat. Open to everyone

Other nightly options:
-Go for a swim in the Indoor Pool.
-Head back to the cabin for some serious catch-up time with your girlfriends or to read a book.
-Go to bed early. Yum!






Here’s Saturday’s Schedule
Hot Tip: Don’t get all FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). This is YOUR weekend – so you decide how you want to spend it!

7:30 a.m., Kawartha Room
Steady + Centered Yoga: Heated Class
We’re going to start the day off right with a hot yoga session! This yoga session will be an alignment-based class to sequentially open the body + center the mind. This class will be heated to warm up the muscles + build tapas (fire) within.  All levels welcome. Bring your mat or towel.

9:30-:10:45 a.m.
Session #1 Begins
Select one of the following four options:

  1. Meditation Ain’t All Zen: Have you struggled to meditate and have given up? In this workshop, Shulamit will debunk some meditation myths, and you’ll learn what meditation is. She’ll offer you some troubleshooting. You’ll also have opportunities to practice different kinds of meditation, ask questions and share your experience. (Yoga Studio)
  2. Pilates: Stretch the stress right out of you with a Pilates mat class focused on lengthening the spine, postural alignment, and core strength. Suitable for all levels (Kawartha Room)
  3. Down Time (go for a swim in the indoor pool, read in bed, all the coffee)


11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (ish)
Session #2 Begins
Select one of the following four options

  1. Nutrition for Tired/Busy/Burnt Out/Pretty Much Every Women: Learn simple tricks to improve digestion and increase energy (and don’t require expensive mushroom elixirs and small-fortune potions!). (Kawartha Room)
  2. Take a Forest Bath (not literally!): We’ll be hosting a guided Trail Hike through the Kawarthas where you’ll discover the gorgeous landscapes, get in a good sweat and soak in the forest atmosphere surrounding you. (Meet at front desk)
  3. Down Time (borrow a book from the Viamede lending library, check out the Viamede farm, find the Viking Oak tree)

Session #3 Begins
Select one of the following four options

  1. Make your own Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelet (Location TBD): Create your own custom gorgeous stone and gem combos and lava stone diffuser bracelets that allow you to collect, stack and wear your favourite essential oils. Led by Pamela Peckford of Sweet P, this bracelet workshop will bring you to make the perfect gift for someone you love and an even better way to Treat Yo Self! (Boardroom)
  2. Free Your Hips Yoga Class (Yoga Studio): Oh, this is gonna feel good. This yoga class will focus on opening up your hips to have more freedom and mobility in your back and legs. All levels. (Kawartha Room)
  3. Down Time (grab the paddleboard, read on your deck, nap like a toddler)


4:00-6:00 p.m.
Chill Time: Take this time to wind down from a potentially busy day. Ideas include: Take a nap, check out the grounds, catch up with girlfriends, read by the lake, put a fire on, etc.)

Come and recharge after a fun day! (Cash bar)


7:00 p.m.
Dinner Served: Enjoy a full-out buffet dinner crafted and prepared by Viamede’s master chef. You’ll access three courses within the meal and will include a ton of options, including gluten-free, egg-free, nut-free and vegetarian. Cash bar.

S’Mores and Campfire
Wrap up the day with total bliss by the campfire. Grab your cosiest sweater and head to the lakeside where we’ll have S’Mores on hand to make by the campfire where you can relax, laugh and soak in the weekend experience.






Here’s what’s going on for Sunday:

7:30 a.m. Early-morning Yoga (open to everyone). This class will focus stretching out your legs from a possibly active weekend. Expect [optional] sun salutations to build heat and end with a longer savasana to savour every moment. Bring a mat or towel.

Session #4 Begins
Select from one of the following options (Sundays are usually quiet, so we’re offering this last workshop as a wrap-up option)

  1. How not to lose your sh*t every day: A Stress Management and Mindfulness Workshop: This is the perfect way to wrap up the weekend. Long-term stress relief is an inside job. Learn why we flip our lids when the shit hits the fan and how to put the lid back on–in a healthy way–so that you can feel good and still cope effectively with what life is throwing at you.
  2. Down Time/Sleeping In!
