It’s-not-an-icebreaker Launch Party and Social Hour
Head up to the breathtaking Main Lodge where we’ll have music and drinks to launch the social hour before having dinner. And here’s the best part: we’re going to host a social-power-hour where we’ll have vendors and experts set up for social hour where you can discover new ideas, purchase gorgeous wares and learn something new. Here’s what we’ve got lined up: how to do your eyebrows, get an authentic headshot taken, mini-tarot card readings, clothing and jewerlly vendors, sexual self-discovery (without any weirdness), and more. It’s gonna be the perfect ice breaker (eww…gross term) for the weekend launch!

Cocktail Reception Dinner
We’ll get set to launch the weekend in a fun way! We’ll have delicious dinner stations and servers on hand throughout so that it’s a great way to catch up with girlfriends in the gorgeous dining room. Cash bar.

Restorative Yoga Class
Want to start your weekend off right? Head over to the quiet Garden Room (back entrance of Ice Cream Shop building) to relax your body and mind with this restorative class to ease your way into and out of the weekend. A combination of breath and certified pure essential oils will aid in relaxation. Please bring a blanket or towel + your mat. Open to everyone

Other nightly options:
-The pub will be open until with live music.
-Head back to the cabin for some serious catch-up time with your girlfriends.

Steady and Centred: Heated Yoga Class
This yoga session will be an alignment-based class to sequentially open the body + center the mind. This class will be heated to warm up the muscles + build tapas (fire) within. All levels welcome. Bring your mat or towel.

ReTreater Face-off: This year we’re getting your competitive juices flowing in our first-ever (and completely optional) retreater face-off! In pairs, you’ll team up with a partner of your choice and you’ll go through a variety of challenges related to our retreat. Could you be running to the trail to find a postmark? Maybe! Perhaps you’ll need to identify the difference between a blonde beer and IPA. Who knows?! The point to this challenge is to get your body moving, discover the grounds and the winning duo will walk away with an incredible gift package that’ll have you bragging for hours. Maybe even yeeeears.

4:00-6:00 p.m.
Chill Time: Take this time to wind down from a potentially busy day. Ideas include: Take a nap, book a spa service, check out the grounds, catch up with girlfriends, read by the lake, catch a drink at the pub, etc.

6:00 p.m.

Come and recharge after a fun day! (Cash bar)

 

7:00 p.m.
Dinner Served: Enjoy a full-out buffet dinner crafted and prepared by the Opinicon’s master chef, Angela. You’ll access three courses within the meal and will include a ton of options, including gluten-free, egg-free, nut-free and vegetarian. Cash bar.

Dance Party:  A weekend favourite! DJ Mack will host a dance party set for you that evening where there will be no judging, plenty of yoga pants, and just good times. Cash Bar

Late-night yoga: need an excuse to maintain a quiet evening without the pressure of a dance party? We’ve got you covered. This year we’re hosting a late-night yoga session with Ellie in the Garden room. If you don’t feel like hitting up the Dance party, then here’s the perfect excuse to keep it low key. Bring your mat or a towel + a blanket. Jammies welcome. You can expect to move very little, breathe really deep, and experience a serious savasana and rest.

This early-morning class will focus stretching out your legs from a possibly active weekend. Expect [optional] sun salutations to build heat and end with a longer savasana to savour every moment. Bring a mat or towel. Bring a mat or towel.
